もしセーブデータの途中でベルトスロットの小さな帽子を装備している場合でも、インベントリに2×2の空きがあれば問題ありません。初回ロード時に、装備されていたベルトスロットの帽子は各キャラクターのインベントリに移動します。

If you are mid save with some of the belt slot small hats equipped, you should be fine as long as you have 2×2 in your inventory space. Upon loading for the first time any worn belt slot hats will go into your respective character inventory.
You don’t need any new research other than the one from the Wear Hats with Everything and if you unlocked those already it will work with this.
Vanilla goggles will fit into the “Extra Inventory” Eyes slots so with this edit you should be able to wear three head gear layers if you really wanted, Like Armoured face plates, a rattan hat, and ashlander goggles for example.
I have adjusted the price multipliers for the small hats so they are more in line with the vanilla hat equvilent prices. This solves the ez money printing issue on settler playthroughs and makes the hats easier to get on more nomadic playthroughs (through trading). This was due to a back end price calculation so even though the value was initially the same as the vanilla versions, because it calculates it for belts/accessories (I speculate) the price was much higher. So I calculated the difference in game and adjusted the multipliers.
